Collins Aerospace has recognized Rapid Axis as an Outstanding Supplier.

A statement provided by Collins highlights why they selected Rapid Axis as one of nine suppliers receiving recognition for Outstanding Supplier Performance 2022:

Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon subsidiary, is one of the largest providers of Avionics in the world with over 300 locations and 68,000 employees; they provide Aerospace manufacturing and product design for a vast array of end-users, including both government, defense, and commercial organizations. 

It’s widely known in the custom parts industry that the key to success is on-time and in-spec delivery. Christine Taylor, Operations Manager at Rapid Axis, took the award as a sign that Rapid Axis is still on the right track to being a significant contender in the parts service bureau industry. She manages the project management and estimation teams. Christine said her team’s constant push for better delivery, quality, and pricing likely contributed to the award. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she was instrumental in keeping operations running smoothly and driving the company towards a culture of constant improvement.

Jared Probst, Dir. of Sales & Operations at Rapid Axis, was ecstatic to receive the award. As an industry veteran with over 20 years of fabrication experience, he previously worked for four companies that had serviced Collins in one way or another. 2022 marks the first time in his career that he’s been a part of an organization that Collins awarded with their prestigious Outstanding Supplier Performance trophy. Jared attributes the award to their industry-leading customer service and how his growing quality management department continually innovates and improves.
